Summer carrot 'Napoli F1' - ORGANIC De Bolster (2058)
'Napoli F1' is ideally suited for the earliest cultivation. It is a productive Nantes variety with strong foliage. The carrots are slightly conical and have a nice orange colour. (Hybrid variety developed for professional cultivation)
Napoli is more uniform than other seed stable varieties in our range, and the variety is more resistant to a number of diseases.
Sow outdoors from March to June, harvest from July to October. You can harvest even later if you remove foliage and cover them with straw. Sow in rows of 15-20cm, 2-3cm in the row. At greater distances, the carrots also become larger and coarser. Sow at 1cm, then thin out at 2-3cm. Make sure there is enough moisture during germination.
For heavier soil types (clay) it is wise to make ridges (with a row distance of 50-75 cm) and to sow the roots in the tip of the ridge. This makes it easier to get beautiful, straight carrots.
These seeds have a white, organic certified coating which makes them easier to sow.
