Parsnip 'Tender and True' BIO De Bolster (1630)
Parsnip 'Tender and True' is easy to grow and can tolerate quite a lot of frost. Be careful in sunny weather: touching the plant can cause burns. Pentecosternacular tubers, or parsnip, used to be a main ingredient of the hot meal, later supplanted by potato and carrot. The tubers resemble carrots, but have a white colour. Parsnip Tender and True is easy to grow, requires little fertilisation and can tolerate quite a lot of frost.
Sow outdoors from April until mid-May. At a row distance of 35 cm, thin out the plants in the row at 10 to 15 cm.
