Cormorant Fino BIO De Bolster (1420)

Cormorant 'Fino' has few pests or diseases during cultivation. However, a good moisture supply is important. Tuber fennel is sensitive to night frost.

Tuber fennel can be grown in spring and autumn in a greenhouse as well as in the open ground.
Pre-sow in trays or per spot. Prick out the plants in the garden or greenhouse. Tuber fennel is sensitive to night frost, therefore plant outside from the beginning of May for a harvest in August. Plant out until mid July for autumn cultivation.  In autumn the crop can stand in the field for a long time. By ridging the tubers or covering them temporarily, frost damage can be prevented. Keep a row distance of 40 cm. Thin out in the row at 15-20 cm.
