Burdock root Tonkinokawa Long BIO De Bolster (1390)
Large burdock 'Tonkinokawa Long' (Arctium lappa) is a Japanese variety of the well-known burdock root. Only the roots, which are formed in the first year, are tasteful. The roots can be used just like salsify.
In the first year after sowing no flowers are formed and therefore no tangles.
Sow in April/May at a row distance of 40 to 50 cm, thin out in the row to 35 cm. The roots can become very vigorous and can be harvested from July until October. Digging up has a good effect on the condition.
