Desdemona's Heart is a tomato variety with heart-shaped, slightly ribbed fruits that grow to an average weight of +/- 100 to 300g. They ripen over a period of about 80 days to an orange-yellow colour. This variety is quite resistant to diseases.
The fleshy fruits have a delicious, sweet, fruity taste and a great texture. They are used for salads and cold dishes as well as in sauces and hot preparations.
The plants have a good yield.
