Artisan Purple Bumblebee is a tomato variety that originated in the United States. The round to slightly oval fruits grow to a diameter of about 2 to 3cm and have an average weight of 20 to 25g. They ripen to a dark red to purple colour with (dark) green stripes over a period of about 60 to 70 days. This variety is best grown in a sheltered place or under glass.
The cherry tomatoes have a soft, sweet taste. They are mainly used in salads and cold dishes.
The plants have a good yield over a longer period.
