1884 Purple is a tomato variety that originated in the United States. The round, flattened, ribbed fruits are on average 500 to 900g. They ripen to a red/purple colour with green shoulders over a period of about 80 to 100 days.

The tomatoes have a very good taste.

The plants are on average taller than 2m.
