Tomato 'Matina' BIO De Bolster (1960)
Tomato 'Matina' gives round and tasty tomatoes that ripen very early. The fruit weight is approximately 40 to 45 grams. The plants form an open crop and the leaves are slightly incised. The leaves are different from other tomato varieties and look a bit like potato leaves. Forms an open crop. Give the trunk support and regularly remove the offshoots (thieves) in the armpits. Plant height about 200 cm.
Greenhouse cultivation: Sow outdoors in March-April. Transplant after the second half of April. Harvesting period is from July to October.
Outdoor growing (open ground): Sow indoors in April and plant out in May (after ice saints) in a sheltered, sunny spot. Harvest in August-September.
