Caspienne Rose, also known as "Caspian Pink", "Kaspijskij Rosovij" or "Каспийский Розовый", is a tomato variety that originated in Russia. The round, flattened, ribbed fruits vary in weight from +/- 300 to 400g to even 1500g. They ripen over a period of about 75 to 85 days to a dark pink colour. This variety can survive well in colder areas.
The fleshy fruits with few seeds have a delicious, rich taste. They are mainly used in salads and cold dishes.
The plants can grow very tall and have good productivity. (Indeterminate growth)
