Brandywine Yellow, also known as 'Brandywine Jaune', is a tomato variety that originated in the United States. The flattened, slightly ribbed fruits grow to an average weight of 350g to 1kg. They ripen to a golden yellow to orange colour over a period of approximately 78 to 100 days. This species is quite resistant to diseases.
The tomatoes have firm flesh and a delicious, slightly acidic taste. They are used in salads and cold dishes as well as for sauces and hot preparations.
