Black From Tula, also known as 'Noire De Tula', is a tomato variety that originated in Russia. The round, flattened, ribbed fruit at the top is on average 200 to 400g in weight. They ripen to a dark red to black colour over a period of about 80 to 85 days.
The tomatoes have red-brown flesh and dark green gel around the seeds. They have a very sweet, rich taste and are mainly used in salads and cold dishes.
