Variety originating from Galicia, Spain. Negro de Santiago is an old Spanish heirloom that almost disappeared some time ago.  it’s a fantastic variety. Their medium to very large, red-brown tomatoes develop a very juicy and intense tomato aroma.. beefsteak type, usually slightly flattened, more or less deeply ribbed at the top and with rounded shoulders. regular foliage, indeterminate growth. Huge yields from mid-season until frost . Chocolate/dark purple skin sometimes, green traces on the shoulders.
