Black Bear is a very rare tomato that originated in Russia. The round, slightly ribbed fruits grow to an average weight of 300 to 500g. They ripen over a period of about 65 to 80 days from green to red-brown-black. This species has a good resistance against diseases.
The fruits have a good full flesh and an excellent, sweet taste. They are mainly used in salads and cold dishes.
The plants are about 120cm to 2m high. (Indeterminate growth)
