Banana legs is a tomato variety that originated in the United States. The elongated, banana-shaped fruits grow in bunches of 10 to 20 fruits. They are on average 10 to 15cm long and can vary in weight between 45 and 70g. They ripen to a yellow colour over a period of 75 to 90 days.
The tomatoes have firm flesh with little juice and few seeds. They are mainly used in sauces and hot preparations.
The plants are on average 80 to 90 cm high and have a very good yield. (Determinate)
