Amana Orange is a tomato variety that originated in Iowa in the United States. The round, at the top ribbed fruits average 350 to 700g and have a diameter of +/- 9cm. They ripen to yellow to orange over a period of about 65 to 80 days.
The fleshy tomatoes with few seeds have a delicious, juicy, sweet, full flavour. They are used in salads and cold dishes as well as for sauces and hot dishes.
The plants are on average 120 to 190cm tall and have a good yield. (Indeterminate)
