Snack tomato Resistant ‘BOL-T-5109 F1’ BIO De Bolster (1961)

Snack tomato 'BOL-T-5109 F1' has a unique intermediate resistance to Phytophthora, a fungal disease that can cause significant problems for cold growing organic tomatoes.

'BOL-T-5109 F1' is suitable for outdoor cultivation or cold greenhouse and offers a high yield of juicy mini plum tomatoes of 10-15 grams with a nice sweet taste (7% Brix or more). The long plants with small leaves form many split bunches with glossy red fruits that can be harvested as a cluster - but also loose, with or without a crown.

Intermediate resistance means that a variety is much stronger against a particular disease, but can still eventually be affected by it. Tests show that 'BOL-T-5109 F1' performs excellently against Phytophthora.

Soil: fertile with sufficiently high organic matter content and calcareous, pH 6-7.5
