Beetroot 'Cylindra type Halflange' BIO De Bolster (1060)

Red beetroot 'Cylindra type Halflange' is a narrow high-growing beetroot, tasty, also very suitable for garnishing. Do not sow too early.

If cultivated in a greenhouse you can sow beetroot very well in February and March.
Sow from April to July; for storage the second half of May is the best sowing period. Distance between rows 30 cm, thin out later at 7 to 10 cm, do not transplant. Storage is well possible: in autumn before frost the beetroot can be lifted up, the foliage can be turned off and silage in sand in a frost-free place.
