A beautiful, Peruvian pepper that turns from dark green to dark chocolate brown with red inside. The smoky, aromatic flavor is typical of a Capsicum Chinense, but the Machu Pichu is much milder ( 10,000 - 15,000 Scoville ) and easier to grow than most of its peers. The plants are medium-sized and also grow well in a pot, you can expect a hefty harvest.
