Dry bean 'Stokkievitsboon' BIO De Bolster (1180)
Stok dry bean 'Stok lapwing bean' is a strong crop with beans that look like lapwing eggs. Both the pods and seeds are nicely speckled red. The pods are parchment-like, so only consume the seeds.
In cooked form the seed coat is thin and soft. Cultivates as sticklabons, 3 to 4 beans per stick. 75 grams for 25 sticks. Late September - early October the pods can be picked. After a few weeks of drying, the seeds can be threshed or shelled.
