Numex Bailey, also known as 'NuMex Bailey Pequin' or 'NuMex Bailey Piquin', is a pepper variety that originated in the United States, in New Mexico. The small, elongated fruits grow to an average length of about 2cm and a diameter of + / - 1cm. They ripen to a red color over a period of about 120 days.
The plants have a good productivity. When the fruits are ripe, they fall off the plant. This makes harvesting easier.
The peppers have a specific taste and are mainly used to dry and grind into powder.
