Mulato Isleno is a pepper variety with slightly elongated, pointed fruits that average about 8 to 10cm long. They ripen to a green-red (chocolate) brown colour over a period of about 90 days.
The fruits have an average heat and a delicious taste, especially when dried. They are mainly used in hot dishes (for roasting, in sauces, ...).
The average height of the plants is about 60 to 90 cm.
