Beaver Dam is a pepper variety that originally originated in Hungary, but in the early 20th century was brought to Beaver Dam in Wisconsin, in the United States. The large, cone-shaped fruits grow to about 10 by 20cm. They ripen to a deep red colour over a period of about 80 days.
The plants grow about 80cm high and grow white flowers.
The fruits have an excellent taste and low heat. They are mainly used in sauces or to fill.
