The Aji Benito originates from Bolivia. The cone-shaped fruits with thin flesh grow to a length of about 3 to 4 cm long. They ripen from light green to orange and then to red over a period of about 90 days.
The very productive plants grow to a height of about 90cm and produce white flowers with green-yellow accents around the corolla.
The fruits have a sweet, fruity taste and moderate sharpness.
