The smooth, round fruits of the Purple Delight look a bit like olives. They can be about 2 to 3 cm long and ripen in a period of about 65 days from purple to orange and eventually turn red.
The plant remains compact (about 45 to 70 cm high) and has white flowers. The leaves are dark green and the stems are purple.
