Tübingermengsel BIO De Bolster (6130)
Tübinger mixture is a proven bee (and butterfly) mixture, suitable for garden or field borders. The mixture consists of seeds of exotic and cultivated plants: Phacelia, buckwheat, yellow mustard, coriander, juffer in green, marigold, cornflower, leaf radish, malva, cucumber, dill, serradella and sunflower. Bees love it! Sow directly from April to June.
Help the bees!
People need bees. More than 80% of the fruit, vegetables and nuts we eat depend on bees. Bees need flowers. However, urbanisation and intensive agriculture are making it increasingly difficult for bees to survive. Also help to improve biodiversity in your neighbourhood! Sow a roadside strip with the organic Tübinger mixture.
Tips
For successful germination, it is important that the soil is well prepared. Make sure that the soil is flat, superficially tilled and free of weeds. A flower mixture cannot be sown through an already overgrown rim or lawn, because that gives a poor turnout; after all, grass and weeds are very competitive. Sow the flower mixture superficially wide or shallow in rows. When sown in rows, it is easier to hoe in a few more now and then, and such a mixture also looks very good in rows. Another advantage of sowing in a row is that all plants get enough light and are less in competition with each other. Optimum is when the soil is pressed a little after sowing, so that the seeds make good contact with the soil. Then water them or wait for a shower.
