Sunflower, large BIO De Bolster Helianthus annuus (5450)

The large-flowered sunflower is a true classic. This giant cut flower can even grow to a height of over two metres. The plant has an unbranched stem and a large yellow flower with a dark centre. The large black seeds are edible and harvestable from mid-September. The ripe seeds release easily and can be removed immediately, but there is a good chance that the finches are ahead of you. Birds love the seeds. Also an excellent plant for bees!

The flower beds dry well, because they mould quickly.
