Cabbage Bacalan de Rennes TessGruun

Very old French variety mentioned in the book "Les plantes potagères" by Vilmorin-Andrieu (1885). Spring cabbage, conical and pointed head, dark green leaf on the outside, rather white on the inside. One of the very first cabbages, spring harvest. Early variety producing an ovoid apple, a little pointed, very firm and compact. The outer leaves are dark green and not very developed, the inner leaves are yellowish white. Very fine taste.
