Tomatillo Queen of Malinalco (PHYSALIS IXOCARPA) 5 seeds TessGruun
This unique Tomatillo comes from the Mexican town of Malinalco, about 100 km southwest of Mexico City. Elongated, tapered fruits ripen to bright yellow and are much sweeter than most Tomatillo's with a flavor somewhere between a Tomatillo and the sweeter, more tropical notes of a cherry. Eat them deliciously out of hand, but also excellent grilled and diced or pureed for a fruitier version of salsa verde.
