Blush is a tomato variety that originated in the United States with small elongated fruits. They ripen to an orange-yellow colour with fine red stripes over a period of about 75 to 80 days. This variety is also resistant to the cold and is quite resistant to diseases.
The tomatoes have an exceptional, sweet taste with a slightly acidic touch and become sweeter as they ripen. They are used in salads and cold dishes as well as in sauces and hot preparations and also have a long shelf life.
