Peper Korean Maraca 1 plant in pot P9

This species originates from Korea. The Korean maraca gives elongated, thin fruits that can be about 5cm long. They ripen from green to red.

The plant grows to a height of about 100 cm.

The fruit becomes spicier as it matures. When not yet ripe (green), they are fresh and spicy. At that point they are medium hot. Once they begin to turn red, the taste becomes more citrusy and they become hotter. These peppers are typical of Asian cuisine. Scoville: +/- 20,000 - 30,000
