Old German is a tomato variety that originated in the United States. The large, flattened, ribbed fruit averages 600 to 900g. They ripen to an orange-red colour over a period of about 75 to 85 days.

The juicy, fleshy tomatoes have a delicious sweet and fruity taste. They are used in salads and cold dishes as well as for sauces and hot preparations.

The plants are about 120 to 150cm high. (Indeterminate)
