Broccoli Green Calabrese BIO De Bolster (1460)
Broccoli Green Calabrese is closely related to cauliflower, however the leaves are narrower and more wavy. Both the main and side shoots can be eaten.
The Green Calabrese likes warmth and a nourishing, moist soil. For a good growth of the shoots sufficient manure/compost must be given. Only use young plants when transplanting. Sow indoors from mid March. Transplant after 4 to 5 weeks at a distance of at least 45 x 45 cm. The shoots are normally harvested just before the first yellow flowers become visible.
