Tuinmelde Lichtgroene BIO De Bolster (1990)

Garden radish can be prepared just like spinach. This variety forms fairly high upright fresh green leaves and grows on any soil. It is sensitive to bolting (in July). After shooting, the leaves are still edible.

Sow from March in rows 30 cm apart. In order to harvest young leaves you have to sow more often in a row. When you let the plants grow further than just eating the leaves (stems become too fibrous).

TIP: also suitable as babyleaf (sowing period: March-July)!
