Rucola Coltivata (Esmee) BIO De Bolster (1760)

Rucola 'Esmée' is an own bred variety of De Bolster. Esmee has beautiful fine and incised leaves. The taste is spicy nutty, but not bitter.

Cut off the young leaves just above the ground or pull them up with roots and all. When sown late in a greenhouse (October) this crop can be enjoyed for a very long period in winter. The risk of frost damage is small. Sowing once every 3 to 4 weeks in small portions gives a good harvest yield.

TIP: also suitable as a babyleaf (sowing time: April-September)!
