Buckwheat BIO De Bolster (4070)
Buckwheat is a fast growing and excellent bee plant of over 100cm. high. Requires a sunny spot and a poor, preferably somewhat acid soil.
Sown in mid-May because of its sensitivity to night frost. Row distance 35 cm. The harvest falls end August till September. When the first seed falls on the ground, cut off the whole crop and dry. Before consumption the seeds have to be peeled. It can also be used as animal feed. Seed density: 50-60 kg/ha.
