‘Cuisse de Poulet du Poitou’ or banana shallots  heritage variety produces larger than average brownish pink-skinned bulbs.   They are most chefs favourites as they are easy to peel and full of flavor.  Good resistance to bolting  well-drained soil in a sunny location.
