Corbaci is a type of pepper that originally originated in Turkey. The long, slender fruits grow straight or curled to an average length of about 25 to 30cm. They ripen from green over yellow and orange to a red colour over a period of about 75 days.
The plants have a very good yield.
Starting around 55 days the fruits are already edible and delicious, but they are not fully ripe until they have their red colour. They are used in salads and cold dishes as well as for sauces and hot preparations. The fruits are also dried and ground to be used as paprika powder.
